CHINESE DANCE
Cricket Academy is proud to offer traditional classes in Chinese folk dance to children aged 4 and up. This class is offered from 9-9:30am prior to the start of the language and culture classes. Students are separated into two groups, one for beginners and one for more advanced dancers. Although the focus of the class is to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture through dance, there is opportunity for performance a few times a year at events held at Cricket Academy and in the community.

This Chinese traditional folk dance class is for children ages 4 and up, and is offered during the time slot before the culture and language classes begin. The class is structured to allow students who have become advanced dancers the option of auditioning for a select dance group. All students enrolled in the dance class will have opportunities throughout the year to perform at various Cricket events as well as events in the community.
